Our Story

Kang Nature is a youth-led environmental organisation based in Kenya. We work as an implementing agency through partnership with other development organizations in Kenya. Kang4Nature was started by Environmental Scientist students with a dream to create solutions for themselves and others by safeguarding and restoring our environment. We no longer wanted to point at problems but instead create solutions and create opportunities for ourselves and others in the process.

The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion for the range of environmental activities we were involved in through scientific research and indegenous knowledge exchange. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs

Our Dream: Our dream as #Kang4Nature is to create a network, a space for youth support and cooperation, to leave our environment better than we found them. We aim to create Leaders who will ensure they create a Ripple effect in their institutions through our Environmental Education Programmes.

Position: Lead Conservation Programs Coordinator

While his academic journey led me through the intricacies of Sociology, his heart found its resonance in the untouched realms of wildlife and nature. Sociology has gifted him with a unique perspective to approach conservation. Beyond the creatures, he sees the delicate interplay of communities, cultures, and ecosystems.

He has a great passion for youth engagement, comprehending how societies can harmonize with nature rather than disrupt it. He brings to Kang4Nature the notion that conservation isn’t solely about safeguarding species but also protecting our shared heritage, ensuring a future where humanity and wildlife coexist seamlessly.
